Thanks all, I found the recording/chart/transcript VERY useful.
It was a great experience hearing Jack narrate his thoughts as the day unfolded. The best impression I took from it was the calmness to his analysis of changing conditions, even when things didn't go as expected.
I've spent a lot of time in recent weeks reading through the older Hershey trading threads and have come across a lot of terms used frequently a few years ago that are rarely mentioned in the more recent threads. Two examples are stop logs and indicator periodicity... but both were mentioned numerous times in the recording and I now have a good idea how they are used.
Also, hearing Jack mention Volume and PRV over and over and over was good... he has always stressed their importance in his writing, but hearing it left even more of a lasting impression.
So I see the recordings as a valuable tool and would love to hear all that are available (even the equities).
Hopefully somebody that has more of them archived will share (Christmas is just a week away...lol).
I had no problem working with the file size as it is. But out of curiosity I found some shareware software software on the web that converted the bit-rate of the file from 160kbps to 32kbps... which lowered the file size from 176MB to 35MB. The sound quality was sufficient. The program will let you convert an entire folder of files to a smaller bit-rate with just a few clicks.
