Does DTN.iq use the same DDE server as IQFeed? If not then you will need to update the spreadsheet cells that contain DDE links to match DTN.iq's required format. You'll find several posts in this thread about which cells need to be updated. Beyond that you will probably need to find anther DTN user that has it working or dig into the sheet and figure out where it is failing. Note I ran the IQFeed version without any changes regired. Also note Mak's latest revision works only with IB.Quote from Hofferino: 2) Even when I load the old one, I don't get live data. I am a subscriber to DTN.iq. What am I doing wrong.

I have a program called IQLink Launcher on my start menu. It's only job is to start IQLink the DDE server. It's not necessary on my computer to use this program, but when I do I am not prompted to start iqfeed.exe as you are. Try this and if it doesn't work you may consider a reinstall of dtn. Almost certain you shouldn't have to move the installed .exe files around to get it to work.Quote from Hofferino: Any ideas?
I'm playing around with this too. I have the FV updating based on the ED rate, but I am using the static indexarb dividend/divisor value that is only updated after hours. Have you found a way to update the dividend component intraday?Quote from makosgu: I am using the EURODOLLAR futures to get the slight g real-time FMV variations. So far, so good but needs polishing as usual.
LOL Easy - no your not. You just work at the Easy pace, which is different than the Mak pace, or the Anthony pace, or the Ireland pace. (Mind you, I'm not sure Anthony has a forward pace yet...)Quote from easyrider:
I am hopeless. I have been using the combined xl for several days without realizing I was not seeing the whole thing.
Better than having rightitis.I quit live trading shortly after ten as I have a disease called PP (profitprotectionitis) which afflicts me after a parabolic move.
One thing I did to conserve screen space is reduce the width of the prior volume bars. Example, highlight column N, right click, select Column Width, set to 1.5. You will not be able to see the volume numbers in each cell, but you can still see the highlights of how high the bar reached and see the corresponding numbers in col P. Also you can right-click on a column and select Hide.Quote from easyrider:Anyhow, is there some way to reduce the size of the excel workspace without changing my resolution?
