Works nicely here Mak - I've noticed the same behavior Easy mentioned, but it's not serious.

Unfortunately I had to miss the morning... just got to my desk and fired up the new sheet, works perfect. Nice touch with the DOM. Thanks Mak
 
No - running @ about ~30% CPU utilization, with ensign, excel, IB sludgemonster java, and camtasia.

excel is taking about 15 mb of ram

P4 2.3 GHZ, 1GB ram, 256mb gfx

The only thing I noticed was when it stops updating - lower left hand corner hangs on "calculating cells 0%" but it seems to be related to moving other windows across it.
 
20 to 30% here. Although when I opened task manager it opened on top of the excel sheet and when I attempted to move the task manager usage shot to 100% and pegged and the excel sheet froze. When I shut the excel sheet down usage went back to normal. I reopened prv and usage was normal again so you cant run one application over the top of the excel for some reason.

One thing Im beginning to know for sure is that descretion, for most people, does not work. There are a few talented individuals who can fly by the seat of their pants but the average man needs instuments. I am building my cockpit.:)

It really does take a village. When I was growing up in rural Louisiana during the 60's there was this guy down the road (dirt) that use to borrow books from my Mother. She had/has a hefty reading appetite. This guy lived with his elderly parents, was bald on top with stringy long hair in the back, and smoked non-filtered Pall Mall one after the other. The town folk thought of him as weird. He had been a POW for a long time in the Pacific Theatre....Anyway we couldn't wait until he returned the books. He use to write exotic looking formulas and encrypted almost hieroglyphic looking text in them. Momma said she didn't know what it meant but if she did we would probably be millionaires. That taught me the meaning of you can't judge a book by the cover. That story reminds me of what I'm trying to learn here. :)

A lot the things we take for granted today was developed by the smart folk. Einstein, Newton, Fibonacci, etc....Google Fibonacci and you will find one story about how he came about his theories. His job was to monitor the mating habits of rabbits and figure out how many there would be in x amount of time. His wonderful findings are now legendary and used by traders everyday.....Rabbits phuking!!! Whodathunkit?
