My observations for the day looking only at PRV. Today's range was large so much of the day was comfortable in terms of direction and side to be on. Camtasia made me an 88 meg file which is great for lookback
1. 09:35 bar 02 takes out previous bar to upside on fast pace - enter long
2. 10:05 bar 08 takes out previous bar to downside on fast pace - enter short
3. 11:05 bar 20 takes out previous bar to upside on fast pace - reverse long
4. 12:30 bar 37 takes out previous bar to downside on fast pace - reverse short
5. 12:55 bar 42 takes out previous bar to upside on fast pace - reverse long
6. 13:40 bar 51 takes out previous bar to downside on fast pace - reverse short
7. 13:55 bar 54 takes out previous bar to upside on fast pace - reverse long
8. 14:10 bar 57 takes out previous bar to downside on fast pace - reverse short
9. 14:45 bar 64 takes out previous bar to upside on fast pace - reverse long
10. 15:25 bar 72 takes out previous bar to downside on fast pace - reverse short
11. 15:30 bar 73 takes out previous bar to upside on fast pace - reverse long
exit 15:45
Questions that come to mind are
1. When looking at previous bar's PRV - I should really be looking at same point in time of previous bar e.g. if I get fast pace at 2 mins into a bar - am I looking to see if 2 mins into previous bar pace was fast or the end vol of previous bar. If former I need to add more detail to the log to know this. If this is the case, does it mean a fast pace up bar cannot be followed by a fast paced down bar without going thru DU.
2. What additional filter can I add to avoid excess reversals. Maybe this is the washing approach i.e. if the bar does not move as I expect it soon after entry then exit and sideline.
