I appreciate your comment - it updates my knowledge base - which is admittedly "old-school". About 7-years ago I even thought of becoming a spread broker(IB) (on the phone). Perhaps it was a good idea not to do it.....

The simple fact of the matter is that most of the grain spreads can be traded as an implied, and the balance can be legged over the screen either manually or using autospreading software.
Again, your perspective is... well, a bit dated.
