Question about AMP Futures fees

...

Hence asking for confirmation either from AMP or someone who has traded and can confirm the cost charged.

It is all right there in the statement you get. Everyone is freaking out over a dime?

See one side trade run.

See one side trade run round trip.

See math. See Dick and Jane. See Jane see Dick run up and down the mountain.

END OF LINE.

Stop going ON about this! If you are trading a size so bloody miniscule that you have to worry about the extra $.10 per side because the data feed is CQG, then maybe you could become an accountant, pinch your pennies even harder?

DO THE MATH!

$.37 per side = $.74 RT, with CQG feed. Ergo, the other parameters in AMP's all-in-cost calculator is valid.

Lol. Maybe these are former retail forex guys. You know the ones who been told trading cost is only in the spread bullshit. First time they encounter real commissions, they freak out

It is funny that nobody apparently ever saw what I see: Despite the higher cost of trading MES, the profits can be bigger and the account can grow faster.

So telling it is horrible how expensive MES is compared to ES, is wrong as your account will grow quicker. This advantage of the MES disappears when size becomes bigger.

Example:
  • Account $2,500
  • Margin ES $2,500 and MES $250
  • Commission ES $4 and MES $0.75
  • Profit 3 points a day net

So trading the more expensive MES is better than trading the cheaper ES, till a certain level.
This is caused by the fact that the size you trade in the MES goes up every $250, while for the ES you need $2,500.

I am thinking about opening an AMP account,

Am a bit confused about the difference between Flat Rate and Volume Tiered regarding fees on the calculator page.

Why is Volume Tiered the default, its seems to be more expense for anything less 10,000 contracts per month.

Is it easy to switch to Flat rate once you open an account

Profit 3 point a day, es account profit $150-commision,mes account $15-commission,how you get mes account grow quicker than es account?Your table is wrong on mes account profit number.

So if I sign up for AMP, the roundtrip fee for MES is $0,74, including the CQG's fee (0,10$). Then, do I need an account for CQG?
