Putin plays Biden like a piano, swaps terrorist for weed smoker. lol

Ahh, I think he was pretty well up and running and well-oiled long before the Iraq invastion.

He had a solid reputation as a UN arms embargo and sanctions violator into several African companies in the 90's.

He did have early involvement with the U.S but even that started before Iraq. He was supplying Northern Alliance/Massoud operatives in AFG before the Taliban.

His entire career is shadowy. He is a former Soviet officer, alleged KGB or other operative according to who you talk to. Let's just say he learned some "helpful" skills there to get him off to a start.

He will be right back at it by the end of next week. He is still in good with all the Russian powers, and Russia still has messy operations going in all those same-old, same-old African countries so the arms smuggling goes on, plus the Russians need arms, so business gonna be good again. He is ethnically and by-birth a Ukrainian by rather imagine that he is of the pro-Russian wing of the Ukraine and procuring arms to kill Ukrainians probably is no issue for him.

Just as reminder, we had him in the slam to do 25 years, and traded him for a cannabis-head who would not stand for the National Anthem. Meanwhile, the white, straight guy- a former Marine- is still there.

It’s a win for Russia no matter how you look at it. The Russians deal in all kinds shady global dealings and schemes. Bringing Bout home after years shows Russian operatives around the world the Russian government can still bring them home. Trading a “common card” for a “rare card” as they would say in the intelligence community.

My point is that don’t think we didn’t build this guy up is all.

TS,FF, and R have you ever did any military service? There is a Band of Brothers - never leave anyone behind. The Marines will not forget this TRESON. The message is already going out - Biden gave The Marines up for a non patriotic, did not respect the flag, drug addled individual. The only thing to do is make sure that the Brothers do not forget. It is like Defunding The Police and call 911. Via boots on the ground - If Biden every needs the Marines he is shit out of luck. Perhaps he can call Human Services.

I guess these pictures are suppose to suggest that The Marines are there for Biden. God bless you if you think that is the truth.

S,FF, and R have you ever did any military service? I suspect that first time a shot of any kind was fired you would shit in your pants.

What does S,FF,R stand for? - I shit in my pants and I liked it.

I am an African American and only have an IQ of 85 and I made TS,FF, and R look like ...What does TS,FF,R stand for? - I shit in my pants and I liked it.

This was an awful deal that never should have been made and I know that the punishment for Griner was over the top. However, bringing drugs into a country like Russia was completely idiotic. I think we have to make citizens aware we aren't going to bail them out if they go to hostile countries anymore. We've made deals in the past for Americans dumb enough to go to North Korea where American citizens are simply pawns for the Kim regime.

This is a terrible take on things my respect you for has dropped due to your posts the last few months. The punishment was a direct fire at the US had almost nothing to do with the crime which is basically a misdemeanor on most of the planet afaik.

I'm not sure at what point Russia truly became a "hostile country". It is understandable that Americans pursuing professional interests may have been under the impression it wasn't. Careless mistakes should not ruin lives. Otherwise you'd have to jail half your country including some of the knobs on here taking jabs at their fellow likely more successful American.

This has become a farce really. People seriously saying you got caught with personal use weed in your luggage your "idiotic" off to jail for 10 years. Yes, I know the US has some really dumb three strike laws that but she's not even on her third strike.

Interestingly, the arms dealers exchanged for Griner got his start working for us in Iraq.

Details aren't Republican strong suits. Bottom line citizens shouldn't pay heavy prices for international politics. Canada waited far too long on the Haiwai case trying to appease Trump's government all it did was delay the return of two Canadians. Trump never cared unless it's his ass or his kids in prison.

Funny really all this chatter about how Biden did a "bad deal" but that's all Trump did for 4 years. Damaged/destroyed many international deals, damaged international relations, damaged supply chains by design ( gee I wonder if that mattered in a pandemic ), sloppily gave in to the Taliban, appeased Putin like he was a buddy ( maybe because he was his financier ? ).

Yet the lunkheads on here who lapped it all up are upset because of this exchange ? Only conclusion can be because she's a black woman. Trump commits numerous crimes they overlook it. But a little weed in the luggage they make a big deal of it. Somehow Trump continuing to be a complete asshole lying his ass off is ok to them, but the black woman is suppose to spend 10 years in a Russian jail ? Fuck that you losers.

Humanity trumping politics isn't a loss.

I’m not trying to earn anybody’s respect, I’m just giving my opinion. I don’t participate in group-think. You can have a different opinion, that’s fine. Somebody might present new information or come up with a thought I didn’t think of that can change my stance. It’s happened before. However, the points you’ve made here haven’t swayed mine.

I think you’re dismissing the problem of dealing with tyrannical governments and the trade off taken place. This man’s release could cause far more damage than what’s being done to one person/family. Do you understand how many more people this might kill as a result? I don’t, but it shouldn’t be taken lightly. And what about the guy that has been there for 4 years accused of espionage? Why wasn’t he first in line to come home? Seems like favoritism for a celebrity over an ordinary citizen. I realize it really sucks for Griner and her family. I’m sympathetic towards that. However, I’m very concerned about the fallout. You have to put yourself in the mindset of these rogue regimes. The truth is when we bend over backwards to get a citizen home it incentivizes them to detain future citizens. We are rewarding them for their unethical behavior and that’s just a fact. I also don’t think we should dismiss that Griner did something illegal (I don’t think it should be illegal, but it is) and people need to realize that the consequences of doing things varies from country to country. Now, was she overcharged? Of course. Almost certainly for being an American too. However, people need to know that when they go to unfriendly countries they will try to throw the book at them if they do anything wrong. Some countries like North Korea will completely make shit up out of thin air.
