Business experience is useful, perhaps if you're running pizza restaurant. Its' not helpful to the kind of decisions you have to make if your running the Central Bank, any more, or less, than it would be if you were delivering a baby, or brushing your teeth. But business experience is at least not harmful if your brushing your teeth. It can be very harmful, however, if you're running a central bank and your experience is limited to running business. Would you want Trump to run the Central Bank? I think not. And he knows more about business than anyone, according to him.
