Prtesident Trump is Truly Dangerous!

Business experience is useful, perhaps if you're running pizza restaurant. Its' not helpful to the kind of decisions you have to make if your running the Central Bank, any more, or less, than it would be if you were delivering a baby, or brushing your teeth. But business experience is at least not harmful if your brushing your teeth. It can be very harmful, however, if you're running a central bank and your experience is limited to running business. Would you want Trump to run the Central Bank? I think not. And he knows more about business than anyone, according to him.

What do you know about running a central bank that gives you insight on who would be good at running a central bank?

Wait, I'd like you to clarify the statement "Business experience is harmful if you are running a central bank."

I have read a lot of company reports, annual, quarterly, perspectuses —— you name it. I cannot remember one that cited fed policy, ever. I’m not saying there are none just they don’t seem to be common.

Take from that what you want.

A common characteristic of corrupt governments is the ease with which government appointments can be bought.

What about using the state intel agencies to overthrow your political opponents. You think that is a characteristic of a corrupt government?

Here is a pop quiz that can easily be answered by anyone except the tards here:

Which of the following is/was the least qualified to be appointed to their position:

1) Herman Cain for a seat on the Fed Reserve Board

2) Caroline Kennedy to be Ambassador to Japan, one of our largest trading partners and strategic allies in the world

That's right. You chose the correct answer. Tards, you can get back to us later.

And why exactly was she appointed? Right again. Because she gave the Kennedy family endorsement to Obama over Hillary right when he needed it the most, unless you think she is some kind of diplomat.

Do not watch this video. You have all seen it and no one should have to see it again.
Complete idiot.

I'm curious, but were you equally put-out when you learned that every other President before Trump also supported the Saudis in numerous heinous acts of barbarism? Or was your anger only because of Trump?

Incidentally, I support your position on Yemen and am against Saudi Arabia.

a conservative estimate of 85000 children under five years old starved to death, intentionally. Over 2 million have been starving in this US supported proxy war between Iran and Saudi.

"On 13 March 2018, U.S. Army Gen. Joseph Votel, the head of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), acknowledged before the Senate Armed Services Committee that the command does not track the strikes carried out during the Saudi-led coalition missions it refuels.

you may find dislike Warren but here is the exact source.

"

WHY DO WE NOT TRACK THE MISSIONS OF THOUSANDS OF REFUELLING or bomb drops. is this because if army personnel knew the missions were to attach civilian targets they would be personally liable under the war crimes act? President Trump or Teflon Don is a specially dirty businessman and we know this by the reports of so many lawsuits. it is too obvious he is a master at giving an order in a way it is not traceable to him? General Votel works for who? we scrape by on legal responsibility or make it take years in the courts but we did it I feel.

A business man's job is to think as a shoe salesmen should. The more new shoes that walk out the door, the better. That's not the kind of simple minded profit oriented thinking that's required of a Central banker. A business man is apt to think that returning to the gold standard is a good idea, for example, without understanding why the gold standard had to be abandoned in the first place. A business man is apt to equate government finances with Household finances. I see this ridiculous sort of thing displayed everyday in the forums of ET.

Today I learned that if you're the 259th richest person in America, you're just a simple minded businessman.

If you're so smart, why aren't YOU a billionaire?

did you know that infowars own scataphagos is worth 10 million to tens of millions! read this last night!!

Never had a thought about spending/blowing it... instead compounded it up to $10 Million.... then, beyond.

My story could be an inspiration to other traders. (Live below your means, save money to accumulate capital... learn to invest. K.I.S.S. Was proud of myself the when I first made $40K in a year. First time I made $1 Million in a year, I was giddy about it for 6 months. Parents didn't even believe me when I told them. A few years earlier, they'd denied my $10,000 loan request from them to make the down payment on a town home... concerned I wouldn't be able to pay them back. LOL!)

My 1st investment was $25/mo on a bank draft into Templeton Growth Fund. I was living in a 1-bedroom apartment and drove a VW Beetle at the time. I still remember signing the forms.

Unfortunately... $1,000,000 isn't even "real money" these days, sadly.

makes me wonder how smart you have to be to make a billion in America

A person with Cain's intellect is going to be occupying a seat on the Board of Governors like a cheap mirror would, parroting back what he hears so as not to appear dumb, while contributing very little of the insight that a person intimately familiar with Central Bank operation could contribute. He'd occupy space at our expense while contributing virtually nothing of value. He'd be beholden to the President for his position, and could very likely become a mouth piece for the President's idiotic whims. He'd be an embarrassment just as the President is. He's the sort that would have insisted that QE would cause hyperinflation. That if the Central Bank held interest rates near zero they'd have no way to combat a future recession, and other such absurdities.
