If the topic then is the legal system instead of the golddigging whores, then I draw a relationship to the lawyers! It is factual that the courts are against the father, unless the mother is a convicted felon or prostitute, in which case the odds are even against the father.
The courts will not change their laws in this matter, at least not for eight years, and even if they did, there is a century of case law for the judges to cite that fatherhood must be penalized. And I don't mean forcing them to pay. I mean the courts blindly accepting the mother's word to keep the father from the children... and still pay!
Yes, that is the norm. So, if you fear of marriage is over the woman, get a prenup and choose wisely. If over the courts, you are justified.

The child support is paid by the non-custodial parent to the custodial parent. The money is to cover the cost of having a house with that added bedroom and other soft costs in addition to hard costs like food, clothes, etc. It would be virtually impossible to maintain separate accounting on what a household's living expenses are for one member of a family.
A very pleasant (is that a nice way to say sexy?) female friend of mine once told me "Any woman who says a man's money is not a consideratio in her desire for him is a lying bitch." She was not joking; she was sincere.
I had asked her where she and her then boyfriend (now husband) met. She said he pulled into the movie theatre parking lot in a brand new Ford Bronco (back when they were full sized) with lift kit, huge tires, etc. She was attracted not to the guy driving, but to the guy who had enough money to buy a brand new Bronco and spend all that much more money customizing it (which only coincidentally was the driver). She said she came on to him like crazy, did him that night in the parking lot of the movie theatre, and never let him get away. He was 19 years old and had got a big settlement from an accident. They're both about the same age.

A legal travesty. Check out the women with six and eight kids from different dads... she chased them all out of their lives but gets monthly support for all of them. Travesty? Yes, to the father who pays for something he will never enjoy and to the kids who will never benefit from knowing their father. The bitch could care less. She gets thousands per month tax-free.

She gets more then $150k per year in child support, and that number is as of about 5 years ago. She probably gets more today. She's never been married.
