Sometimes it is fun other times it makes you deeply question yourself. If you are not willing to put in the work, then don't bother getting married. This gives enough time for the newness and "false front" to wear off and you really get to know the "true" person. If she is not down with this then run away as she probably has a hidden agenda. While I agree that money complicates things, you can get a feel for what kind of women she is over time from "hints" that she shows. Keep in mind that even the poor ones eventually change once money is available. The key to avoiding confilct is to not let your ego get in the way and instead of arguing about trivial crap just let them think that they are right. Ask any couple who has been married a long time and they will tell you don't sweat the small stuff. Also little things mean more to women than just buying them stuff as they all get tired of cleaning up after men all the time. Last but not least, get married in a state that does not have alimony or marry one who is not a super model and that makes more money than you. Happily Married for 5 years, known her for 11 and lived together for 4 prior to.
