Problems with Transact Today?

I trade with chart analysis and orderflow. Actually, I tried the demo a little over a week ago and so the results of my experiment (i.e. comparison of X_TRADER vs OPENECRY) are somewhat current. Unless the new servers you speak of were released over the last week, that is.

Look, I am just a user like you are and I have no affiliation with OpenEcry.

But I would never mislead ET users with false information. Its just that I do not have Transact to test...

It's a valid alternative to X-Trader, and in a few weeks they will launch their own charting software (....in May I think)

Is there an alternative in terms of price structure for commissions similar to Transact?

thats the problem i haven't seen any one near $3.42 r/t for the es. as all know it comes with a price for the cheaper commissions

I meant the 55 cent per side + exchange fees and $400 monthly minimum commission cap to be generated.

thats the same thing which equals $3.42. again i've seen nobody within even 40 cent r/t for 360 r/t's

Has anyone talked directly to Transact and gotten a response as to what is going on and what they are doing to fix it? I'm going through an IB using transact so can switch to another for the time being as well as having a backup to use, but I would like to stick with them if it is just a short term problem. As joey points out the commission is hard to beat.

Same here, I opened it up to run it next tothe back up and it was off line in about 10 minutes. Not good! IB doesn't have any info at this point, so if anyone has an update direct from transact it would be great.

I spoke to bill zimmerman over there and supposedly what happened is when they were upgrading there servers to incorporate Trade Navigator platform, some application caused a problem throughout the system. They are taking the trade navigator down for a few weeks to finish the upgrade. I have alot of confidence in these guys they will get this done shortly. they have always been very reliable. I have gone through upgrades before with other software and had similar porblems. Its part of the upgrading process.
