Post Debate Buzz For Herman Cain

Quote from tomdavis:

What you are describing has very little to do with race, and everything to do with party affiliation. People tend to vote along party lines. The fact is, Republicans rarely vote for Democrats no matter what color their skin may be. The same is true of Democrats.

Difference is white democrats will vote for black democrats.White republicans rarely vote for black republicans.

Thank you for proving my point. People vote along party lines.

Quote from AK Forty Seven:

Is it that hard had to figure out why black republicans gets few white democratic votes ?

I've never seen a single recent study that supports your statement.

To the contrary, Allen West got almost 100% of the white Republican vote. That's why he won.

Allen West, an African American, got almost 100% of the white Republican vote in his district last November.

There's not a shred of recent evidence to support your statement.

Quote from AK Forty Seven:

Republcans vote along party lines as long as their candidate is white

I think using the GOP as a whole rather then 1 or 2 elections in 2 small distracts is a better indicator of how republicans feel about voting for African Americans

That is rule of statistics number 1.

Republicans are not going to nominate a black man for president. It just won't happen.
