How do you end the cycle of resentment and mistrust? The losing side needs to make the first move towards normalization. Besides, it can score points, rather than lose points in the court of public opinion.
Yes, I realize our politics has long been a game of each side blaming the other while they both steal from us. By stealing from us, I’m talking about our freedoms getting whittled away and the theft of our earnings via taxes, fees, fines, and required expenditures, such as healthcare and certain real estate related required services that is misspent.

The first order of business is for the Republicans to unify themselves before trying to take on the better organized and run Democrat machine. Case in point, the Republicans are something like 1 out of 51 courts cases, received 0 out of 9 votes in their latest SCOTUS play, and did not have the support of over 90 Congressional Republicans in their latest effort to contest the election. Remember, several of the other courts were led by Republican judges, not just SCOTUS.
The Republican’s second order of business is to redefine what they are about. What do they have to offer voters, not just Conservatives? The difference makers in elections are Independents. Obviously, the Republican’s have to also get their base excited about voting.
The Republican’s third order of business to to develop a plan based on well though through goals, available resources, and their honest assessment of the political environment.
Bottom line, decisively losing 98% of cases shows incompetence at some level. Whether it is not recognizing the judicial climate, failure of Trump campaign attorneys to follow local court procedures, bringing forth cases without sufficient legal merit, or lacking sufficient resources or organizational ability given time constraints, somewhere the Republicans screwed up. Some say the allegations of election fraud was a ruse for fundraising purposes. Whatever the case, the Republicans have lost professional and public credibility, making challenging the Biden-Harris platform to look more like obstructionism rather than principled disagreement. Guess how such a perception would play in the court of public opinion and related future elections?
Until the Republicans show they can competently represent themselves, why should we have faith they can represent us?
Still no sign of election fraud. Thorough defeat in every single court case of any significance. I told you ages ago this would be the result. One can only hope that in future US elections we will not see this level of delusion, court cases, and nonstop whining from the losing side. Yes, it was always unreasonable. Trump declared that the only way he could lose the election was by fraud. That's a major clue that went way over your head. I must admit I am surprised by the level of gullibility many Americans like yourself have displayed.
