He is by default, black. That is what the left based their decision on. The leftist media came out directly during the 2008 campaign and said that we must, as a nation, vote for Obama to show the world we are not a racist nation. Perhaps you forgot that.

Either I forgot, or I simply don't read many talking heads. The "leftist media", referring to front page news, said nothing of the sort about who to vote for. But as I recall the election statistics, "blacks" typically vote 95% democrat, but in 2008 they voted 98% democrat. 3%. Of "black" voters, who are what, 14% of the US population?

We all know it was the white vote that elected Obama in2008. He received 43% of the white vote, most in 20 years. The media created white guilt.

If as they say , the electorate is dividing by race, this is bad news for Democrats. Obama got 42 million white votes in 2008. He only got 39% of the white vote in 2012....

POLL: AMERICANS BLAME OBAMA FOR ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION, IRAQ, IRS CRISES

A new IBD/TIPP poll finds that nearly 60 percent of Americans blame President Obama for the current wave of tens of thousands of illegal immigrants sweeping across our southern border, a wave that includes thousands of young children unaccompanied by adults.
Along with the question on immigration, the survey taken in late June asked a series of questions revealing that the Obama administration has taken a major credibility hit on such issues as the "lost" IRS emails and Obama's foreign policy failures.
On immigration, the poll asked if the Obama administration's policies are causing the current immigration crisis. A hefty 59 percent said that Obama is to blame for the growing crisis on our southern border, while 39 percent disagreed that Obama played a part in the mounting humanitarian crisis.
Enticed here by the Democrat Party's talk of amnesty, tens of thousands of illegal immigrants have been arriving from Central and South America, attempting to gain entry to the country. Thousands of parents have sent young children, many pre-teenagers, on the road to the U.S.
The poll also found that "six in 10 say that the children should be ordered to leave the country."
The news was even worse for the administration on the question of whether or not people believe that the IRS has "lost" the emails of its employees under investigation for the targeting of conservative groups. Respondents who said that the supposed loss of the emails is an attempt by Obama to "hide evidence that the IRS deliberately targeted conservative groups" totaled 65 percent.
Only 27 percent said that they thought the IRS legitimately lost the emails that Congress has been seeking in its investigation.
On the question of Iraq, the poll asked if respondents thought that Obama's troop withdrawal from Iraq in 2011 led to the current terror attacks in that country. While 41 percent disagreed with that assessment, 56 percent said that Obama's actions led directly to the terrorist attacks now paralyzing Iraq.
In a country as politically divided as the U.S. is today, these numbers show a mounting distrust of President Obama and his administration.

What about the notion, "we never should have been in Iraq in the first place"? After all, we got involved there on the false pretense that Saddam had WMDs. And speaking of Saddam... his tyrannical rule kept those maniacs in check. Is America better off with present turmoil than having Saddam's status quo?

Religious sects there have been warring with each other for a 1000 years before America became a country. Now that we've gone, they're back at it. We've been involved in armed action in the ME for what, 13-14 years? What have we accomplished? What price have we paid in lives and treasure? Has it been worth it?

I'm thinking our efforts in Iraq were no more effective than pissin' in the wind. At some point one has to wise up the the realities of beating a dead horse.

.

I believe the Cap'n voted for Obama once. Same for Tsing. Did they vote because of "white guilt"? I doubt it. And I voted for Obama, not because of his race, but because he is NOT A REPUBLICAN.

Lots of "islamic militants" got killed so I think it was necessary. Might have been better to do Iran instead of Iraq but "what difference does it make at this point?" They are *all* going to need attention in the long run.

You eventually have to go directly to the source of little white pickup trucks filled with low-IQ bad guys. Every LWPT that we zot improves the human gene pool and the scrap metal goes to s. korea so they can crank out more Hyundai's.

How dare you accuse me of voting for that commie.:D No, I did not vote for Obama, but I do recall posting here that both of my brothers did in 2008, but not in 2012.
You may be thinking of some of my earlier posts where I stated my affiliation with the democratic party years back, but had to give them up when they allowed the party to be hi-jacked by the radical left. That happened right after Bush was elected and they just couldn't swallow the fact that Gore was such a loser he couldn't carry his own state. Bush may or may not have been the clear winner in that election, we'll probably never know, but Gore was the clear loser. The left is still fighting that election result and that is the core of their present day ideology.

When Reagan changed from dem to pub, he stated "I didn't leave my party, they left me."

Fair enough. I didn't think you were a race voter in any case. But looking at the data I linked to, it's pretty clear where the racism actually is. Everyone voted more for Obama--presumably their motives all differed as much as their gender, age, and race--except... for old, Southern, white men

Wrong rectum. By far the most significant group voting against Odumbo from the breakout at your link was republicans, 93% for McCain.
