Yes, with this risk/reward rate of 1 : 20 -> 1 : 30 !!!
Thats incredible and then you can trade with a low winrate (40-50%) !!!
For my style and how i see trading:
The best traders, only trade this described how above,
OR,
with a high win rate (80-90%) + a risk/reward rate of at least 1 : 4 !!! (Thats the only setups i should trade !!! But unfortunately they appear not so often !!!)
For me, the best trades, i can do, are with a 90% win rate and
a 1 : 4 - 1 : % risk/reward on average !!! Thats really big money in relation to the risk !!! But i must be very patient and wait long until such an situation appears and also i must hold it longer then my other trades, to make that big reward. !!! Thats how it is !!!
So in the end, i think, this both techniques are very similar, in the results !!! If you calculate all winners and lossers !!!

My win rate for my best system is over 70% on the ES, FDAX, ZB, YM, NQ and TF contracts. I can squeeze it higher by turning it into a semi-discretionary system, by trading off of technical and sentiment measures, as well as trading basic moves such as MA crossovers.
