Quote from Kicking:

If the U.S. goes ahead with its plan of "preemptive" war against Iraq and God forbid other rogue nations it will be viewed rightly as an unwarranted agression. I don't think we'll see massive terrorist attacks in the US even with the blatant incompetence of US law enforcement agencies (since 9/11 it seems they were just there to make American Muslims lives miserable, take away people's civil liberties and relay the White House propaganda while bombarding the public with false alerts).

What we are going to see though is more innocent Americans and Westerners who have NOTHING to do with this (like the recent humanitarian workers shot in the Middle East or the travelers in Bali- those were not Americans that's probably why the Bali bombing didn't make so much of an impact in the US!)

All this is happening because of your government (and those who support it, mainly the Republicans I guess) . Don't you get it?
Bush is more dangerous than Osama! Since 9/11 he has only made things worse and is about to start a war that could lead us all to Armageddon. GET RID OF THAT MORON (and his hellraising team) BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! BUSH IS A MADMAN far more dangerous than Saddam (hell he's got far more weapons of mass destruction than the little dictator from Baghdad). Do you REALLY think Iraq can attack the US as the moron suggested in his New Year's speech? Gimme a break! they don't even have one missile to hit Cyprus if they wanted to! There is no need to attack Iraq.

I love the US but here in Europe, let alone in the Middle East, Asia whatever! almost everybody dislikes or hates America and it is getting worse every day the moron is in the White House, he's just on a mission to destroy everything: the economy (HE ALREADY CRIPPLED THE ECONOMY AN "IRAQI ATTACK"IS NOT NECESSARY TO DO WHAT HE'S ALREADY DONE), the environment, civil rights and individual liberties, and thousands of peoples lives(maybe yours). BUSH IS DOING MAJOR LONG TERM DAMAGE TO THE US AND THE WAY IT IS PERCEIVED ABROAD , it will take decades to repair.

The combination of 9/11 and Bush is the worst thing that happened to America in a long time.
It's not what happens to you but the way you react to it.

PEACE in 2003 (let's hope for it)

Gotta agree with basically everything you said...

1. Islam has been at war with the rest of the world for over 1300 years, and there is no reason to believe that this will change any time soon.

2. Terrorism is a form of warfare mainly practiced by the islamists, with no rules. They will hit us with everything they've got, as soon as they get their hands on it, including nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons.

3. There will be no long-term repercussions of a U.S. attack on Iraq. If we hit them hard enough, they may quiet down for another decade or so, otherwise they will be all over us like a cheap burqa.

Kicking,
I respect everybody's opinion only if it is factually correct.
Your statement that you love the US is hardly believable by the way you talk so derogatory about it's leadership and law enforcement agencies.

There is no perfect government, and if you would wake you, you will see that the true demon here is technology. No other time in history has it been possible, until now, for a small group of people to bring about a state of fear as we are witnessing today. To allow rouge nations with leaders that have no respect for life to develop weapons that can destroy millions of people is not an option; and regardless if it is the present administration or a future one, this type of risk has got to be brought into check.

Also, your statement about Bush crippling our economy is incorrect. Mathematically it doesn't work out since the market crash started in 2000. He inherited it from the previous administration.

Finally, your statement that Bush is more dangerous than Osama is not worthy of a response; try telling that to all those people that had loved ones killed on 9/11.

A lot of Americans have died in the past so that freedom can be enjoyed; so please don't walk on their graves. And, don't forget that the US is one of, if not, the first to come to the aide of other countries that need help.

Why does it seem that the moderate, peaceful Muslims are the minority and the rest of the Muslims are rabid, violent, intolerant fools? Is it because they are not well educated? Or is the religion of Islam inherently intolerant of others and steeped in violence?

“In either event, there were no black players playing on the Miami team when I was there...”

"I was an undergird[sic] at one of those half dozen universities. In 1969, we had our very first african american football player. He did not get to play much as a freshman. Even though he was Chuck Foreman."

Fact: Chuck Foreman was the 3rd black player at UM.

"Got out my 1969 Ibis (U of M yearbook) and guess what? Not a single black player on the varsity or freshman team."

Fact: BELLAMY, RAY # 81 TE 1968-71. This would put him in the 1969 edition of Ibis.

RS7, the first comment to you was about your alleged combat record. You came up with a far fetched story about a State Department sanctioned mission, complete with capture by the enemy, a bullet wound, all your captors killed, an escape, etc., that would be impossible to verify.

So you were asked a few other questions about some of your other unbelievable tales, ones that possibly could be verified by answers that would be consistent with previous statements and that jived with known facts.

Your responses, for the most part, were like the UM ones above, completely inconsistent and in plain error in face of the facts. Sorry, but "I said I was mistaken." doesn't change your errors or inconsistencies. Nor does your retracting the "combat" tale to a "compilation." This would lead one to presume that your "combat" story was not true, the entire point of my interaction with you.

Have fun in your fantasy world, RS7.

The stated aim of Islam is to take over all other religions, by any means.

I guess you're right. Most Americans I know are filled with bloodlust and love strapping bombs to themselves and take flying classes (without wanting to learn how to take off and land) and want to drive all infidels who are not white into the sea. Yeah right...
