Bahahahahaha i never even realised that Nine_Ender brought up "Ontario" as the definition of a succesful economy.
Ontario which has been run by liberals year after year after year has five times the debt to GDP ratio of California.
Ontario makes California looks like the pinnacle of fiscal responsibility. This is Read_Ender's model of liberal success.
California's bonded debt per capita works out to US$3,844 per person, while Ontario's is CA$20,166. As shares of the economy, California's bonded debt is a mere 7.6 percent, compared to Ontario's 40.9 percent. absorbed by servicing the debt, which simply means paying interest on exist- ing debt.

Okay, well let me give you a little hint cowboy. The united states uses a pantload of oil and we get 40% of it from canada. So if you think it is not major to your economy just because Ontario is not dependent on it, then that's fine off on your planet I guess. And that Canadian oil is now oil that we can easily get somewhere else, including our own reserves and at a good price too so you have no stranglehold there. Here is a little question for you: Does the price of Canadian dollar fluctuate with the price of oil or with the price of maple syrup? Might want to think that through when underestimate the importance.
In regard, Quebec selling cheap power, and your suggestion that that can stop, again, go for it. You will find that their price was based on our demand but also their need to sell it, eh? After all, they would be selling it in Canada if they had a market, eh? So if you want to blow that leg off too- go for it. Also, Quebec is a separate nation under the Meech Lake Accord. We will deal with them on that and it is none of your business. We are on as good terms with the Quebecois as they are with the rest of Canada or better. Oh, I see. Ottawa is going to tell Quebec who they can and cannot sell power too.. giggle.......good frigging luck with that.
Maybe you want to translate this sign for the others....giggle...nevermind.
