Poll: 58 Percent Say Professional Athletes Should Be Required to Stand During National Anthem

Green Bay Wi is only 3.5% black and if the spectators in this almost all white crowd decide to ditch putting their hands over their heart in favor of linking arms to show their solidarity with diversity and multiculturalism, we'll know the country is toast.

So, let's see....
In Green Bay, 96.5% of attendees to Packer games are white. 90%-ish of NFL players are black. And the blacks are telling the whites, "FUCK YOU".

Sounds like a recipe for something negative for the NFL.

Since kneeling for the national anthem is considered incredibly disrespectful by at least 58% of the nation's population would you consider having the NFL players protesting in another manner such as wearing armbands or wearing cleats that bring attention to their cause?

This would be far more beneficial to promoting their agenda while not infuriating the majority of the country's population -- and the symbolism would be present the entire game rather than just at the beginning.

I'm not seeing much respect from you concerning the player's ( and others ) rights to protest in the way they see fit as long as it's lawful and there is no violence. You are exaggerating what a flimsy poll says and repeating it many times on this site.

So there is a small group of posters on this site who complain about Facebook, Google, the NFL, Nike, Target, and other organizations because their political beliefs are being tested or opposed. So what. Boycott if you want, I doubt you'll cease to use the products or services of all these companies. Even if you do, it's hardly going to be a material impact on them in 95% of the cases.

Meanwhile, there are far more important reasons to get upset in the US. Like electing Trump who threatens to blow up North Korea ( which in fact decreases the safety of the US ), like your messed up health care system and associated costs ( may not directly impact you due to your current wealth ).

Even the recent 220% tariffs on Bombardier arranged by Boeing should put a scare into Americans who believe in capitalism or depend on import/export. A US/Canada trade war is going to be a major headache for many who work in the US. Bombardier even employs 7000 people in the US and this tariff could put them out of business. So why does Boeing, one of two major players in this industry need to squash the lesser competition with the courts ?
