Police shoot a guys dog for filming them

Attack dogs don't discriminate size, age, or sex.

They care not whether one is blind, crippled, or crazy.

They simply seize the throat to destroy the wind wipes and jugular veins.

This is the trait they have been bred for the most. They dream about it the way monkeys dream about bananas.

Perhaps the most important thing to note is what actually led to this attack. The man has dropped something, maybe his wallet or the dog's toy.

The dog is trying to get at it. Tail wagging, excited.

The man grabs the object from the ground and quickly pulls it away from the dog, up onto the air- probably in the exact same way he has played keep away roughhousing with his friendly furry pet in the past.

The dog jumps excitedly and playfully after the object.

The man apparently doesn't want his dog to have that particular object at the moment, but doesn't know how to control his dog.

The man drops the object and again reached down for it.

This is when the dog seizes the opportunity to take full control of the object by killing it's opponent.

In this instance, it would have been nice for a gun toting bystander to have come along..

What few people realize is that by nature, a canine will fight for scraps of food and other chew objects much the same size as toy ropes, and other "dog toys".

This is what dogs do instinctively, yet ignorant owners play around with those instincts unknowingly.

Dogs in the wild fight for scraps, and they seek to one day become alpha male or female, by way of killing or maiming the current pack leader.

With selective breeding, we are able to multiply this trait by tenfolds.

The result is a multitude of killing machines that are taken in as pets by many clueless individuals who think the dog looks cool on their leash.

Once a switch is flipped in these animals, it often takes death to turn that switch off.

Notice how the pitbull actually releases the man for a moment and looks as if it will hold off further attack. It is merely waiting for a better opportunity to seize the man's throat which it succeeds in doing.

Also notice how the pedestrian trying to help the man beats the pitbull repeatedly over the back and head with a steel rod to no avail.

According to that dog fighting expert on here all you have to do to protect yourself from a dog attack is to raise your knee. Who would of thunk it.

Sounds like you may have had enough.

You don't have to watch this one. I'll just tell you that a pitbull attacks a little girl.

Again, several full grown men in this video have a difficult time getting control of the animal. More than enough time goes by for this child to be severely disfigured before the dog is removed from her.

What should be of note to others is that this dog looks playful because its tail is wagging during the attack.

This is common behavior of an attack breed before, during, and after the attack.

The dog may actually be having fun, the same a way a professional boxer enjoys landing a stiff blow to his opponent's jaw.
 
This guy was lucky to have a cop nearby who wisely decided to use his most effective weapon- a gun, rather than reaching for a baton or tazer.

Another instance of an armed and well trained officer who demonstrates using what is often the most appropriate weapon to deal with these animals- the handgun.
