To refresh your mind, Michael Brown’s ill advised family brought in an “independent pathologist” to perform an “independent” autopsy on their son. The likely point of all this was to have testimony that “proved” Michael Brown had been shot multiple times in the back.
The “pathologist” they brought in was a guy named Dr. Michael Baden and they also brought in a guy who called himself “Professor Shawn Parcells.” From all appearances Baden didn’t do anything but sign the paperwork, in fact, as our article points out, he likely wasn’t even present when Parcells performed the “autopsy.” He certainly had nothing to say in the presentation of the results, other than “Here’s Shawn!”
Parcells, as we reported at the time, is a fraud. He bills himself as a “medical investigator” but is not a doctor and has had no formal medical training other than watching or “helping” at a number of autopsies. Our original article detailed the fraudulent resume he’s put together.
This “independent autopsy” got a lot of lefty press even though Parcells noted that all shots that hit Brown came from the front.
