Poker vs Day Trading

I started playing poker for about a month and I can see better returns than my usual returns at day trading.
I play poker very conservatively, with very long and boring grinding sessions. Mainly looking to enter in the mud with good hands, nothing too crazy and slowly slowly building the bank.
Since both fields are a form of gambling, are there any professional poker players around that could share some thoughts on it?
Is poker easier to master than day trading?

Poker's easier when you're playing vs fish (drunk tourists)

Trading's easier when the chart you're trading goes up nicely ( like BOIL today)

I disagree that trading is like poker.
1) In order to play poker you have to ante up before any cards are dealt. In trading, you can wait (at the table so to say) until you see an opportunity.
2) Seeing the opportunity is like seeing your hand BEFORE you place a bet.
3) In a poker game only one person wins; in trading many people can win.
4) In poker people can conceal their emotions. In trading, it is impossible to conceal the buying and selling.

Anyone approaching this profession as a gambler, imho is walking down the wrong path.

Great game; I remember well the 3 piece properties[or 3-6-9combo.of those] were much better than just 2 piece properties.
