***Limit bores me to death. Very little oppurtunity for creativity. ***

Yeah, why is the most boring game (limit hold 'em) also the most popular game? I only play NL/PL hold 'em, limit Omaha H/L & limit stud H/L. Have visited Harrah's Indiana & Foxwoods CT. only to find that they have no games running of the type and limit I play.

Last month I offered a lifetime 10% rake rebate at partypoker.com + 20% first deposit bonus up to $100.

This offer is still valid, but instead of using the code/link in my previous message, please PM me for an individual tracking code, so I can segregate all the accounts properly, and easily figure out how much to rebate each player.

Of course, if you're more interested in multi-table tournaments, you're better off skipping partypoker, and playing at pokerstars.

You made a good point about making decision under pressure and game plan. I am a scalper who trades based on tape-reading. I find similarity between tape-reading and my efforts to read other players hands.

i liek UB, the promo they have now is good w/ satellites to get into a 1million garuntee:
$3 rebuys to win in an entry into the $200 and then the that awards entries into the 1 mill. howver the downside, toruneys are marathons, lasting several hours... i can understand maybe the 200 rebuy, but sitting there playing a $3 tourney for 4 hours is ridiculous, i guess depending on your time though

UB has it's advantages. Decent software, 80-160 Omaha games, somewhat decent tournies, frequented by many poker celebs (On UB, I've played Layne Flack, Phil Helmuth, Ngyuyen- forgot which one, Annie Duke, Phil Ivey, probably more.)

Disadvantages: Unreliable Servers, not nearly as many games going as Party, No antes in the tourney blind structure like stars has.

Overall, only my 3rd favorite site.

NB- 2002 WSOP champ Robert Varkonyi is an equities trader. Can't remember too clearly (drugs), but I think I even told him to check out elitetrader.
 
Just like the late 90's was the golden age of trading, <b>right now</b> is the golden age of online poker. It's gotten to the point where I expect to make over one grand every day, plus another low 4-figure amount every month from affiliate pimping.

Most of these guys on party poker don't have a freaking clue how to play...there's no way the shark/fish ratio can stay this positive for more than 2 or 3 years tops. In summer of 2000, my podiatrist asked if I'd be willing to train him to daytrade, so he could give up all the HMO annoyances of the MD profession. I'll know poker has hit the top when I start getting requests from high end professionals to teach them to play cards. Quite enjoyable for as long as this lasts.

Pretty impressive. Which games are you playing in? Definitely a bull market for poker now. Considering that it is global it could last for awhile, hopefully.:)
 
Just wait until everyone logs onto the poker sites with their own poker computers and bots. The online poker gravy train could end suddenly.

The real bull market is going to be in selling poker playing programs.
