Not so fast...IB has had there fair share of complaints and I'm sure thy have totaled to MUCH MORE than 12 pages.

IB is not perfect, but management has always fixed any major problems and outages are quickly resolved. Frankly, I feel much more secure having my money with a large institution than some of these smaller brokerage houses.

I've been on vacation for a week or so or I would've thrown in my two cents sooner.

Here's a thread that I started a couple of weeks ago asking similar questions to those being asked on this thread.

I liked the software and the support guys at Pointdirex but I didn't feel comfortable with this quick change etc. so, as you can read on the linked thread, I closed my account with them.

Maybe some of the responses on that thread will help you with your decision process.
 
I moved my account today, with a lot of luck I might be trading tomorrow.

Called SWS this morning and explained everything, they ask me to send fax regarding wire transfer directly to them, not PD.and they executed. (very empathic )

PD’s hole transition was executed like a Chinessnis fire drill .
( No pun intended)

There backbone ( T-1) & telephone , is with MCI, (wcom, wcome, wcoq)

All their key employee’s have left company.

Surprise’s happened in direction of trend.
