Please DO NOT ASK AGAIN WHY

hapaboy, and the others, batrakus, onewaypockets, thanks for your comments.:)

I'm not trying to support or oppose your thoughts, only curious about them and how some readers view/think the video/voice clip.

Maybe it warrants a thread for it self.

What we have is a video and some voice from the US aircraft pilot/gunmen etc.

I am looking at the facts:

It is a US aircraft carrying autoranging guns capable of attacking. The four men are in the middle of a farm land. It doesn't say where. Notice the tractor tiller, the processed soil strip behind it, the truck and the small pick up, no other visible structures around.

The men seem unarmed, and not wearing any special uniforms.

One tried to hide under the truck was at first shot and severely wounded judging from his range of motion after he got hit.

The aircraft men see him going down, confirm he is wounded, and the order comes in to finish him up.??

So the questions I have:
If there was not a US attack fighter there but we were flying by looking down what do we see? 4 enemy troops? threatening US?
or 4 farmers in the middle of a farm working on it?

Not sure. Presumably the intelligence was right about them being enemies ( I have to assume yes and the gunman was following orders) Was the intelligence right? After all White House now "blames US intelligence for misrepresenting the facts to them" about Iraq, 9/11 etc.......:(

Lastly, the order come in to finish up the severely wounded person.

Where they a threat? Finish up a wounded person? Kill them before they kill us?

Again. not supporting or opposing... only looking at the video and voices. :) something you will not see on evening news..

For you to "paint them" as possible innocent farmers is a bias. You have absolutely no idea what the situation surrounding them was. This could have been a war zone area, those could have been military trucks. I have no idea.

War is a very ugly thing. This war is especially ugly. This enemy does not wear a uniform, they surround themselves with children, etc. like I outlined in my previous post.

The helicopter gunship did what it was created for. It is a killing machine, and its crew did what they were trained for. Kill the enemy in a war. They took no particular relish in what they did, they moved on to the next target...

Ya, those children might have been strapped with bombs like the Palestians strap bombs onto their kids.

Kill them all, that's the ticket!

In my mind it is more like two Iraqi men with an RPG run away from the troops chasing them. They run into a school/home/hospital like the chicken shit rats they are. The ground troops call for air support, an Apache gunship shows up and levels the place. Iraqis the next day show women and children missing limbs, etc wailing about how unfair the American are. The Iraqis should be angry at the cowards that seek refuge amongst the children and innocents.

Tough shit.

Tough shit is right oneway, but you will never get through
to these guys.

These guys would PREFER that our guys walk into an
unknown building filled with armed iraqis and have
HUGE causalities so they can carefully pick and choose
their enemy and never accidently kill an innocent.

Whats funny is, EVEN IF THEY DID THIS, which would cause
the loss of X times more american soldiers, they would THEN
bitch about all of OUR causalities and use this as a reason
to stop the war.

The fact is, they are anti-killing, even when the cost
is greater death in the big picture.

Short sighted and simply stupid.

Reminds me of a canadian I spoke to once about gun control.

My final question was: If a serial rapist/murderer scum bag
broke into your home, and announced he was gonna ass rape
your three young children, then slice them up slowly to bits,
make you watch, and then finish you off, WOULD YOU PICK
UP THE GUN ON THE NIGHT STAND AND DROP THIS PIECE OF SHIT?

His answer: I cant kill another human.

At that point I gave up.
I will let Darwin take care of him.

I just got this figured out.

The people who died on 911 were collateral damage.

So are our soldiers.

So are the American contractors.

Yeah, come on all of you, big strong men,
Uncle Sam needs your help again.
He's got himself in a terrible jam
Way down yonder in Iraqnam
So put down your books and pick up a gun,
We're gonna have a whole lotta fun.

And it's one, two, three,
What are we fighting for ?
Don't ask me, I don't give a damn,
Next stop is Iraqnam;
And it's five, six, seven,
Open up the pearly gates,
Well there ain't no time to wonder why,
Whoopee! we're all gonna die.

While people all over the world die, the defense contractors and oil companies profit like bandits.

Only in America, only in America....

No dumbass.... your the one who simply doesn't realize
that the death of some innocents is required to save
a far larger number of innocents in the future.

Your such a bleeding heart, you couldn't bare killing some people
to save thousands more.

THAT my friend, is being a dumb ass evil bastard.

NOTICE that you dodged the ONE question I asked you not to dodge.
Your mind is clearly made up, and debating this with you
is like debating religion with a born again.
A complete waste of time.

Lets just hope the world doesn't fill up with people like you
that will cause even MORE DEATH by their short sighted
good intentions.

wrong....if in fact it was justifiable...we would carpet bomb them and end the madness once and for all and stop wasting american money and lives...but since this isn't the case we need to tip toe thru the tulips...peace

Quote from axeman:

First of all: Bleeding heart? Hell man, YOU try to justify killing children, because your heart bleeds about previous killings!!!!! Get a fucking grip on what shit your are spewing.

The above is NOT my quote. You seem incapable of even
quoting someone correctly. Just more proof im dealing with a moron here.

NOT YOUR QUOTE???? "your bleeding heart...blah blah" you wrote that!!!!!

You don't even remember your own writing. Thank you for proving what a screwed up fried brain you carry around. hehe you get some credit for that!!
Get lost man. stick to your own words, don't bother with this anymore, just GET LOST:p

peace to you too :D

Apples and oranges.

In WWII the US did carpet bomb a non-military city.
Forget the name. Even the germans were stunned we would
do such a thing. THAT was not justifiable.
Bombing a non-military target, same as 9-11.
Pretty horrific stuff. Nothing but a pile of dust left.

But our troops do NOT intentionally target civillians or children.
But it simply is not possible to fight a war without
civillian casualties.

If a bunch of military targets are hit, and there happen
to be some children around, well, its awful, but thats war.

When we decide to go to war, we are basically saying
that killing children *IS* justifiable. (Usually on accident).
Or we would never ever go to war.
(And we would all be hailing hitler right now too)

That is what I mean by justifiable. Targeting a kid and killing
them is almost never justifiable.

Exactly we don't know, and I made that clear already. I was looking for thoughts on this based on the facts shown and voices heard. "Paint them" ? I went over what the pictures showed, and what the voices say. It is a given that "we had already painted them" as enemy troops...

I have no idea either. There was a tractor tiller, and a truck and a small pick up in the middle of a farm with 4 men. For the coulds woulds and ifs our "intelligence" already took care of it....
