Pictures of your trading stations

Simplicity in your system (and your trading station) facilitates clear thinking. At least for the discretionary trader.

No need to read about the CRT technology. It is ancient. While they are still in use, you cannot buy new ones. Bulky, heavy.
The predominant monitors for computer (not TV) are LCD wide, around 22" to 23".

Thanks Bolimomo for the reply. Can you please suggest good models for the "22" to 23" sizes?

Hello, here's me. We broke Oil and Gasoil options to institutions, based in central London, UK 3 of us sit side by side here:

we use Reuters E!KON, have bloomberg on trial, but not sure we'll keep it, and use ITS Netrix phones for voice comms to our traders around the world which are set up with speed dial and voice-box so we can just shout down to them. Oh, and yahoo messenger which is actually what half of all physical and financial oil is traded on throughout the world fyi!

I was purchasing 22" Acer monitors from Newegg for a long time and recently tried out a 22" Hanns G from Newegg for the same price and found the quality to be a step up from the Acer. They have sales almost weekly and you can find either at a discount.

I use a few Samsung BWX 2243 (22 inch) and some Samsung 23-inch models. I like them a lot. Those are older models which they no longer sell. Look for the newer models in that line for 23-inch and 24-inch.

I also like Viewsonic and Envision brands. Acer is okay. LG I don't like. Reliability issues.

It's an old style (pre in house 8-day movement that is) 212 chrono. It has one of the slightly larger 1950 shape cases which I prefer of the more modern squared off ones. Am a bit of a collector actually, have a bit if a vice for the things: http://s54.photobucket.com/albums/g92/henry_w_1984/Watches/
