Do you use software or a API export to link Tradestation to your Merrill Pro?? I am trying to do the same with REDI.

On all but the silver screen and part of the first screen. The silver one has up Merrill Pro that I use for execution. I demand fast execution and good prints.

My computer is on 24/7 unless I go on vacation.

Also about the dust, I have a compressed air can *which I need to buy more of* that I spray around a lot. My computer just seems to be the ultimate dust magnet. One time I went without 4 months of dusting it, there was an insane amount of dust balls, clunked in the computer, literally making my fans go slower and all that, was amazing to be honest.

The good ol' compressed air can comes in handy to clean out the dust.

When I was using Compaq computers, I never had any dust inside.

Now that I am using Dell... they are like you say... "Ultimate dust magnets"...:(

Nope, Software should do one thing and do it well not try to do everything. Execution platform quickly executes, and charting platform draws charts. I don't trade fully automated so api linking seems trivial at this point. I'm sure it can be done though.

mine...
dual 2001FPs and the 30 inch monster in the middle

Very clean setup with lots of monitor RE.

Guess pretty soon all we need is one huge monitor/HD TV.

Also do people shut their computers off or leave them on? I know that schools and business's usually will leave the computers on overnight.

My Dells have been running 24/7 for years - only time they go off is for upgrades.

There is a school of thought amongst IT guys that switching PC's on and off is bad for them anyway and can cause reliability problems through component stress with all the bits getting hot and then cooling off, expanding and contracting day in day out.
