One more time for the learning impared..... The official attendance figures everyone uses are given out by the clubs. However that figure is not necessarily or hardly ever the number of people in the stands, it is tickets sold + a few other tricks tickets distributed, bulk sales etc.. to bolster numbers i.e. "paid attendance". This is why sometimes a game will be sold out yet visible empty seats at games.
This isn't something new, tis been going on here for years and now showing up overseas.
