"Hawaii Revised Statute 338-17.8 allows registration of birth in Hawaii for a child that was born outside of Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the childs birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence. The parents would be issued a Certification of Live Birth. This is not proof of where the child was born. It only proves that the parents claimed Hawaii as their main place of residence for the prior year."
"THIS IS NOT PROOF WHERE THE CHILD WAS BORN."

there may or not be a birth certificate of some sort on record in hawaii. the question is whether or not it a long form issued directly by the hospital complete with doctors signature or a record of birth as described above. that's the question no one wants to answer.
it has been documented that obamas mammy wanted him to be born in hawaii, but was unable to get a flight out of kenya at the time of her due date. it's quite possible that he was born in kenya and his mammy recorded the birth in hawaii afterwards. that is what it appears happened. otherwise, why is obama spending so much energy on keeping a simple form hidden?
why would both his grammys say that he was born in kenya and why would the kenyan ambassador confirn that obama was born in kenya?
most likely hawaii was asked if their was a bc on file during the vetting process and that was as far as anyone looked. i don't recall any other time when we had a candidate who had a parent from another country, held multiple citizenships, had lived abroad for long periods at a time, and so on. during the vetting process it was probably assumed he was a us citizen because these issues had never had to be addressed before. this is not a left right issue, it is honoring the constution in its entirety, a constution many men and women from both parties died to protect. if obama was half as patriotic as he wants you to believe, he would stand before his make believe podium and show the world his long form birth certificate. after all, he did say he would run a transparent administration. why all the secrecy unless he has something to hide?
Good post.
Only thing left out is how the state of Hawaii itself doesn't even consider the short form proof that someone was born in Hawaii. They want everyone else to use it and consider it the final word, but when they themselves want to confirm a native Hawaiian's ancestry, they demand the long form for the very reasons you sited above.
