No lack of a 45 year old document will stop a five billion dollar president-elect from taking office. Even if you are correct and he is not qualified, it will be fixed up and he willl get in. Even if you are right, you're still wrong.

I suspect obama can not prove he was born in the U.S.

But, I can not imagine Obama or a State of Hawaii official will present a forged document to the u.s. supreme court. That is the type of crime which would quickly turn into prison time.

So, in the end the court will let the case be blocked by procedure - or Obama will be toast. ( I would give that 30% chance.) The problem is it could take a few years.

The U.S. Supreme Court will decide Friday whether to take up a case over president-elect Barack Obama’s citizenship — one of a few around the country seeking to nullify his election, but this one has an interesting lineage. It was referred to the high court by Justice Clarence Thomas, the court’s only African-American justice.

Maybe Thomas is just returning the favor — putting through a case that questions whether Obama should be president, after Obama said he wouldn't have picked Thomas for the high court.

The suit filed against New Jersey Secretary of State Nina Mitchell Wells contests Obama’s claims to citizenship and therefore to the presidency and initially sought to stay the election. Alan Keyes, who was defeated by Obama in a race for the U.S. Senate in 2004, has filed a similar suit.

During the campaign, a copy of Obama’s birth certificate was posted on his website, showing that he was born in Hawaii. A petition to stop the Electoral College from confirming Obama as the next president has been rejected by Justice David Souter.

Legal experts say the case has little chance of going anywhere

No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time.” Emoluments refers to compensation.

The compensation of the SOS was raised in 2006, and voted on by the Senate, including Hillary Clinton. Game, set, match my friend. It's the reason Ronald Reagan did not appoint Orrin Hatch to the Supreme Court.

Obama is a Harvard law grad,Hilary is a Yale law grad,they both have a team of muilti million dollar attorneys.Its funny people like Peter berg,mag light,neo rio etc think they are smarter then them and that they will catch a legal mistake Obama made.

You could have the smartest lawyers in the world arguing that red is blue but at the end of the day red would still be red.

Replace natural born citizen with born on American soil and he still has the same problem.

Anyways.

The Supreme Court will announce whether it will actually consider the Obama lawsuit as early as today and as late as Monday. It is normal for supreme courts to not decide on the same day whether to bring about a lawsuit.
