Launch a weapon to retain power? Where is he going to fire it at? Against the Congress? That's America's own soil!! Why would he do that? He's going to kill his own supporters and allies who are still trying to speak for him. I can't believe she would think Trump would launch nuclear weapons. Nuclear weapons!! I think you're paranoid.

She's not stating Trump would / can launch nuclear weapons against Americans...against the United States.

Instead, she's talking about using the "threat" of Nuclear Weapons against another country that possibly has nuclear weapons...to intentionally trigger a nuclear crisis with that country that could possible then threaten the United States.

Guess Trump is not the only one who's crazy in the government. Just against whom and why does she think Trump is going to launch nuclear weapons? Just for fun? If you want to launch a witchhunt, at least launch one that's based on sane and plausible grounds.

Yes, it's clear that Trump has gone off the rails, and I would agree if we were talking months instead of days to the end of his term that measures to remove him from office would at least be something to seriously consider. But this argument that he poses some grave threat at this moment in time is just silly. He has been castrated from any real power. There aren't any people in positions of real power who would obey any goofy order from him at this point. Nancy, Chuck, Joe and crew need to put the Orange Man crackpipe down and move on to the business of governing the nation.

Trump is on a very short leash. Now what happens on Jan. 21st and beyond is anyone's guess. You can't expect to fuck over several million people and not see a backlash. You cannot silence their feelings of injustice, real or perceived, and think it'll be a live and let live atmosphere.
