Have you considered trading options as a way around the PDT rule?

No, I've never traded options, I'm just keeping it simple for now. Next year my cash flow will improve......then I'll be able to grow this account a little faster. Till then, it's slow and steady.

Don't let the haters get to you. There is no reason why you can't turn 3k into 25k. Thats how I got my start 5 years ago. Of course 99% of people will fail, but that goes for almost anything lucrative in life.

Assuming you have a successful strategy(BIG assumption), the real challenge for you will be avoiding blowups. If you are setting a fixed numerical goal for yourself, its very tempting to take bad trades to try and make your goal if you fall behind.

Thanks, Newguy and Htrader.....yes avoiding blowups is key, I'm trying to keep them small and infrequent.

Nice job on growing your account so far

As your account grows, keep it cool the way you are now: don't get too eager to ramp up size quickly
