Made a couple of mistakes that pretty much ruined this month, one order entry(tqnt) and taking on to large of a position several times.......I've since back off.

What are you using to determine your entries and exits.

Indicators, S&R, Flipping a coin... what?

So far you are trading a system.... but any information would actually make this thread useful, how you are trading, how many trades you average per day, and yap yap yap.

But good going so far, when I gave up on stocks because of the 25k rule, and switched to futures.

For stocks I hold for more than a few days, I like to look at the trend on a weekly chart using MA, RSI and go with the trend. For day trade scalping I use everything except flipping a coin.

As far as this not being a useful thread, that hasn’t stop anyone else, lol. I just started this to keep track of my results, not how got them, and since I’m having to deal with PDT rule, you can see I only complete two or three trades per week, sometimes less. Good luck to you on your futures trading in 2006

Thanks, I use IB so I’m paying .005 per share. The volume varies, I’ve done as few as 50 and several 1000 share trades.
