PDT Limitations

Starting this journal to track my progress on a weekly and monthly basis. Due to the PDT rule, I will only be able to make one or two day trades per week plus swing trades.

I’ve open an account with IB and funded it with $3000.00 to start and will add to this when possible or necessary.

I only trade stocks and my preference is the Naz and to go short more than long.

The end goal, not being limited by the PDT rule (25K) in apx. 20 months.

Anyone else that wants to track their progress here, please feel free to do so.

No I’m not trying to make a living off this account. This is just a start till I have extra cash sometime next year. In the mean time, the financial goal is 10% per month to get this account over 25k.

If this were a JOURNAL you would list actual buys and sells with prices and dates.

Otherwise it is just a list of dollar values on Mon or Thu. You are not going to get much feedback if all you write is Mon: $175.

What is the point then....
