Paul "The Man" Tudor Jones in the NYT

Quote from Thunderdog:

Yeah! So don't be messin' with surf's annuity, courtesy of a "rare classic for the masses."

Tell me, surf, how did you arrive at your "understanding" regarding PTJ's wishes? Do tell.

Well, that settles it then. "Someone who claimed." Sounds airtight to me. We should all count ourselves among the fortunate that you know just the right quantity to sell at extortionist, er, market prices to keep all the billionaires at bay.

From someone who has had dealings (I was a significant broker of his) he is not a man to cross. To meet him in person is very different as he seems a nice guy but if its true he doesnt want anymore out there I wouldnt be the one to cross him. His order execution girls are even more scary.

Quote from DonKee:

I know it sounds exciting to get something that is "unavailable", but let me assure you.....here's how I remember it...
it is a real boring program with maybe a few moments of Paul calling down to the floor and trading.

I rented it from the public library a long time ago (it was on vhs).

You aren't missing much.

I worked for him as a floor broker on the COMEX in 1986. He swore everyone in the office to "secrecy" regarding the filming of this "documentary". The tape is as "DonKee" says it is . . . pretty uneventful. Yawn.

What would definitely be worth something is videotape of Tommy Baldwin on the CBOT stabbing a "local"in the chest with his ballpoint pen before being escorted out of the pit.

Now that's good stuff!
:p

Why is he so scared to acknowledge he uses Gann and Elliot Wave analysis?

I see no reason why he would be.

He used all sorts of cycle analysis that Peter Borish worked on and was a big believer of looking for "analogs." It wasn't just the use of Elliott Wave or Gann.

Even though he is in it, in a speaking part, no less. Right. Good for him.

Surf, perhaps you could send Peter Borish your very last remaining copy of the video, to make a believer out of him.
