Pabst's Blue Ribbon Trades

Quote from Pa(b)st Prime:

I may be nuts (a given) but I see stocks breaking 25% over the next few months.

That's why you should revive this thread.
The S&P's going under 1500 in the next few days for starters.
I think I got a good play for later today:)

Covered my short delta's at 52. I'll risk a scratch on my hedge. This could be like July 25th. We're not in the breakdown part of the trend change. Yet.

i can't see how these IBM results can be sold. let's see tomorrow by the close (well of course CPI mail spoil the whole market).

disclosure: i am long IBM since March this year - and i am not worried here.

The #'s were in line, but IBM has had outperformance the last few quarters so in-line is not great.
The #'s were not bad--I agree w you--or there would have been blood all over this one.

Great trade! It's gotta be nice to pick up 1% on a call that was a tad bit off.

It will be interesting to see how IBM performs today, but i'm out from yesterday.
Had to take the +$1.8 on my shares. Profits will help finance the next, even better idea:)

well, strange day.
CPI did not spoil the market but it was happily seconded by another dismay housing data. i would say the faster we fall the better - we can't go below zero after all.
and i was wrong about IBM close :( - have to wait for the next Q earnings :)
If PTR has the same % gain as today it will become the biggest company by market cap worldwide, i.e. passing XOM - pretty ridiculous isn't it.

Pabst, short IBM before tuesday close.

100X size of crox trade

A real "blue ribbon" special!

IBM -$3.85 to $115.75 today!

I'm feelin lucky so watch this space for more winners!
