The US and Uk are okay with Russians not buying all the apartments in Miami, NY, and London as a way of hiding wealth from Putin. Those oligarchs should be fixing russia so that their wealth can be safe there.

Agreed. And I am sure this is what they are going to do once their assets are unfrozen. I am just surprised Russia doesn't have any capital control and they can just let all those people put their money wherever they want. But then again, when you are rich enough, you can put your money anywhere you want, capital control or no capital control. China has one of the strictest capital control but look at these:
