Yeah but which court? American court or international court?
I am sure the lawyers will figure it out. Whatever banks froze it, in whatever country, I presume. What is interesting though is, how do Russians think anyone will ever trust them again for anything in business after they pull stunts like these?

The funds that are frozen are Russian bank's funds. Not "oligarchs"' funds.
If you're talking about the yachts - I don't know ask the courts in the countries where they were confiscated.
Oh and I would not call opposition to an unprovoked military invasion of a neighboring country an "arbitrary policy".
It is arbitrary if a man's wealth is confiscated. Those
affected have no political control over Putin.

1. It is not an international court. Courts in the countries that confiscated the yachts (Italy and others) are in charge. The authority obviously comes from those countries' governments.
2. I have yet to hear of someone confiscating a 512-ft yacht of some poor Russian worker who worked all his life for it.
3. Without these oligarchs Putin would not be where he is. His rule is based on them. He enriched them and they enriched and support him.
As part of the ongoing war effort then. Well the same thing that Russians are asking themselves: How can they trust the West ever again and how vulnerable they can be when they open themselves to international commerce. Putin and the young Russian people today are starting to understand why their elders are always so paranoid about the West.
