overtrading

Hello eleanorK80,

Well I learned by trading everyday and taking losses and taking wins.

And everything you are saying, is what us trader go through.

I like @deaddog approach of having a plan in place on handle wins and losses and stay objective on track to trading. Because emotions, stupid trading, regret trading, fearful trading, I wanna give up trading WILL indeed come. You can not run from anything you are feeling.

All you can do is embrace it and plan for it and battle it, a plan helps reduce this things, so you remain in control.
Hello simplemelike
I agree that we should accept both losses and gains and exercise patience throughout each trade. I'll cross my fingers that I can continue to exercise patience. lol

Like @schizo said, if you are profitable, overtrading might not be a problem.
Chances are, you're not, and overtrading just make you lose more.

There is not silver bullet.
1) Have a plan.
2) Stick to it.
3) Rinse and repeat.
seriouslyyyyyy?
Can I start new trades? Overtrading is OK, are you saying?
I believed I might be mistaken. thanks for your assistance

Umm, I think the key is to make a trading plan and stick to it. This plan should include your profit targets and your maximum loss limits for each trade. When you hit the ceiling or floor, stop trading and take a break. Of course this is easier said than done.
