I haven't got through Education of a Speculator yet... I read the beginning a while ago, and thought to myself... fuck why would I ever put my money in his fund? He spent the first chapter I think talking about being an old man and being far too leveraged and STUCK in a bad/risky position in the forex markets and finally he managed to dodge bullets to escape after feeding in his 'line' just enough to bluff and live another day. Haha.
his analogies in that book are bar none. But I agree the first chapter isn’t much to remember, but the book doesn’t read as a story, so you can jump around chapters. Each chapter he analogies speculation to other aspects of his life (chess, horse racing etc)
you read books to determine if you’d invest in the authors fund? Baller lol
