Something I've noticed about you Americans is that you NEVER take responsibility for anything. Ever. It's always someone else's fault. Russia, China, Mexico, alqaeda.... On the opiods - China Russia Mexico arent forcing you to take drugs that's on you. You create the demand.

I mostly agree with that. However, China knows what they are doing. They have been asked to stop the illegal fentanyl production, they agree (in 2019), but did not really do anything.

But you're right that the demand side of the problem is entirely cultural and no one is forcing Americans to take fentanyl. Some will argue that over-prescription for legitimate purposes leads to illegitimate purposes, but that's not the primary reason for all the youth overdoses in America.

There were only a couple of times in my life I considered drugs to escape the feelings about my life situation. I never did though. This has nothing to do with demand side and everything to do with a sick society.

The society is dying, or dead. There is a very low rate of marriage partnerships, big business is choking out small business with the help of government, we are going back to being serfs with fewer rights than serfs!
