Only fools are complaining about gas prices

High gas prices

Forget the complaining or the whining or whether it's 'fair or not'

Figure out how to adjust

And figure out how to profit from this

Only fools trivialize the impact this is having on our economy. Whether you can afford the higher prices or not, your life will change too, and not for the better. Things get bad enough, you won't be safe in the street. Those that are well heeled will be nothing more than prisoners in their gated communities. You really want to live like that?

Quote from $preader:

Fair point.Everything is relative, what products you buy out of choice versus products you actually NEED to buy and get squeezed on and of course how much you need to buy.

One of the most expensive substances you'll ever buy per volume, more expensive than gold, oil,Starbucks, even blood is printer ink!

$8000 per gallon.
Doing business in NYC, coffee is a far more valueable commodity than gasoline.

You most definitely don't need a car, but business is always done at such an intense pace, that if you cannot keep up, most definitely will be "left in the dust", and if you are not careful, you may end up as roadkill. :p

You didn't read the link. This is DRIVER death rates only, so it has nothing to do with #passengers.
Your understanding of statistics is almost as laughable as your belief that the civic is safer than large cars :p

Since everything I have said is statistically and functionally accurate and sourced from reliable places, your comment only makes you look pathetically stupid.

But, since this is probably your several dozenth alias, we already knew that, didn't we, cold one?

Look who can't take what they dish out.. you were pretty smug having a crack at large cars, then when your pathetic little death trap Civic cops a swipe you hike up your skirt and scream troll

If you can't take the heat then get back in the kitchen :p

Don't you mean "if you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen"?

No.. I was being facetious, Traderzones is a woman :p

You're right...I didn't read the link because its common sense that the larger cars and SUVs are safer. Now that I have read it, I found this quote:>>>>>>

“Though the focus is on drivers, the rates
reflect the relative fatality risk for all occupants,”
McCartt adds.
Death rates by vehicle size and weight:
Characteristics that influence vehicles’ death
rates include type and body style (2-door car,
4-door SUV, etc.). Another important factor is
size. The smallest vehicles in any type/body
style group generally have the highest rates.
None of the 15 vehicles with the lowest
driver death rates is a small model. In contrast,
11 of the 16 vehicles with the highest
death rates are mini or small models, and
none is large or very large.
Among all types and sizes of
cars, the smallest 4-door models
have the highest driver death rate at 148 per
million registered vehicle years. Next highest
among cars is 137 in mini 2-door models. Midsize
(33) and very large (34) luxury cars have
the lowest rates.
There are exceptions to the general rule
that bigger is safer. For example, the driver
death rate is higher in midsize sports cars
(115 per million) than in mini (107) or small
(71) ones.
Another exception is very large 4-wheeldrive
SUVs. This group is mostly Ford Excursions,
which have a driver death rate of 115
per million — higher than the death
rates in large 4-wheel-drive SUVs and
higher than in all but 4 of the midsize and
small counterparts.

So there you go...according to that article, the larger the car, the safer it is for the driver, and those figures generally apply to the passengers too. Hey, the Civic might be safer than the other small cars, but I'm still putting my kids in a Tahoe.

Bingo! I think Traderzones may be mildly retarded not to understand that just by common sense alone.. next I'll be hearing menthol cigarettes are better for you than normal ones
