As for the Canadian Liberal Government, when the prime minister is not wasting his time taking selfies of himself, he's fucking the Canadian working class. And when he's not fucking the working class, it's only because he's too busy at that moment fucking members of the government 'behind' his wife's back.

Looks like she finally caught on.

But don't you worry everyone. The next round of carbon-taxes are ready to hit and be jacked up even more. Someone has to pay for the raises he gave himself and his cabinet! Maybe if we pay him enough he'll finally stop fucking every worker. Or is that just another moral hazard? Hmm...

No government has coherent plans or ideas. Every single group looks after their own self-interest while wanting a piece of the pie. There is no way for any government to have a "coherent plan" to tackle all these. Unless you are a dictatorship, all a government in a western democracy can do is try to juxtapose and play whack-a-mole accommodating all of the different interest groups while still trying to look good for its image so what you end up having is a myriad of conflicting policies that's all over the place. That's politics.
 
There is some truth to what you say TheDawn, and something that has been debated since the ancient Greeks in Athens. This is one reason why dictatorships actually have some valid positives, though naturally, no politician in the West wants to admit that.

We're getting close to having a dictatorship here in the US. When the folks in power do as they please without recourse nor consequence at the expense of the people while controlling the media and censoring dissent...what do we have?

What do we have .... 4 indictments so far. A good start on the way to locking HIM up. If that happens we avoid a dictatorship.

Kind of misleading. The homeownership rate in CA is 55.3%, so adding 16% to it, ~70% can afford to buy.

I know some legal eagles say he could still be Prez if on ballot and then elected. Give himself a get out of jail card then pardon himself. Personally doubt that possibility taking place, but what do I know.
