Only 16% of Californians Can Afford to Buy a Home

Living in Canada for a while I found that most Canadians don't really know what they actually want. Higher housing prices and do anything to protect rising housing prices. Then the not on the property ladder generation wants lower housing prices. The older farts want people from shit hole countries to come to pay for stuff and pensions. The others find the current immigration levels are too high...

Which one is it...seems neither the government runs any coherent nor logical strategy either. Canada is currently on a full tilt self-finding mission. Similar to Germany 50 years ago. How to overcome the guilt of having abused the natives (Jews in the case of Germany). Everything else in Canada seems to be secondary at the moment.

Record high immigration into Canada is creating more problems for Canadians in an already strained housing market, financial analysts are warning.

Canada is on track to take in 447,055 immigrants this year and 451,000, according to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), an increase over its previous projections. IRCC says Canada will take in 500,000 immigrants a year starting in 2025.

This could have dire consequences for housing and employment, those in the financial sector say.

Vancouver-based Robert Mogensen, a broker with the Mortgage Advantage, says such steep immigration targets would only make sense if Canada’s housing capacity was already meeting Canadians’ needs—but it isn’t.

Where is Harris County, California?

“…The ownership company says it has filed eviction papers, but our experience covering these squatter stories shows sometimes it can take six months to a year for the eviction process to work through the court system...” Six months is crazy!

Squatting should be a federal offense same as theft. The fact that squatting can only be dealt with in a civil court is just ridiculous!

And crimes!! Good thing United States is not doing the massive immigration besides the illegal refuge shit. Good of Trump to have built that wall.

Even in Libertard Canada, I can't believe the crazy news from California I see on a daily basis. At first, I thought these woke laws had to be a 'joke'. An exaggeration, it had to be hyperbole, even the idiotic American government couldn't be this woke. Such a dystopian society can't possibly exist, can it?

And then... reality sets in. This is the 'everyone gets a trophy' generation materializing (except for the evil straight-white male).

Cops can't even do their jobs anymore because no one wants to offend BLM criminals. So, the answer is to decriminalize crime. LOL!

Ridiculous!! This is why Biden's gotta go!! He's not saving America's soul; he's corrupting it.

This is not cognitive dissonance. Each viewpoint is based upon rational self-interest.

I get that for the commoners. But that the government has no coherent plan, not even ideas, is shocking. They are so preoccupied whoring themselves out to every last voter in their manic attempt to stay relevant that they are actually at a complete standstill. Pulled in every direction, unable to follow any single path.

There is an old saying about the Congress of the US:"The only time the country is safe is when Congress is not in session." It is probably also true for actions by the Canadian government.
