Omicron: Natural immunity idea ‘not really panning out'

Yet, if you're interested in the past data beyond 6 weeks

No, what I meant is that the logarithmic growth in Omicron cases has occurred mostly in the latter part of the six week timeline. Wait until January 30 and check the charts and the breakthrough numbers again. They will probably go up quite a bit.

You survive first wave or uninfected (no Ab) -> survive Delta (Ab) or uninfected (no Ab) -> you're very likely to 1) become infected with Omicron (R0 > 8) and 2) survive Omicron as it's far less lethal and Ab from prior infections are somewhat durable.

Vaccines don't work on dead people. Got it.

You're thick. You can't get the mild shit if you died of the scary shit. That's your selection bias. Making the case for surviving Omicron is an IQ test.

Then why are people dying from Omicron then.

They should have been vaccinated then. I mean, they only had two friggin' years to get it done.
well, the vax is like a yr old and yeah, no one's arguing those dropping dead from omicron are the anti-vaxxers.

Because Omicron's R0 is possibly >10 for Omicron vs. 3 for Delta. 3X more infected. Law of large numbers... more unwashed/unvaxxed infected = more deaths, especially with breakthrough PRIOR cases (not breakthrough vaxxed). And yes, some of the elderly vaxxed are dying from Omicron but it's less than three percent. I posted the link above.

And well, this:
