It seems like you put a lot of words in my mouth that I have never said or even insinuated.
First of all, I work from home so I don't come in contact with a lot of people to begin with. If I feel like I'm getting sick I put myself on lockdown, which means I don't even leave the house for two weeks. Period. And that's something I've always done... long before Covid ever came along. I think anyone who willingly goes out in public while they are sick with something contagious is quite frankly an asshole.
Second, I'm not an anti-vaxxer. I've said repeatedly that if you've never had Covid before and you are the typical human that never exercises or pays much attention to diet, you'd be an idiot to not get vaccinated at this stage of the game.
Third, I never said wearing masks is not science or made a negative comment about cleaning protocols.
Fourth, I never stated that I had a belief in the "nothingness of the viruses". As I stated earlier, I am very sensitive about spreading anything to other people, either from myself or from any other member of my family.
And finally, there is a big misconception that vaccinated people are somehow immune to spreading Covid. Although the risk of getting and spreading prior versions of Covid by vaccinated people are greatly reduced, they can still get infected and spread a new variant like Omicron just like an unvaccinated person can. And that's exactly why the Pfizer CEO said prior vaccines and boosters aren't doing much to prevent vaccinated people from getting infected with a new variant like this newest one and that's why we're seeing Omicron spread like wildfire.
Well the point was not putting words in your mouth but reapeating what I heard out of other mouths so apologies for the confusion. My you was just phrasing generally.
The point is as I said 2 posts back is not the vaccines as that is you and your immunity.
My biggest issue is most people who are against the vax (not you) also push a narrative that teh other stuff is garbage too about stopping the spread and which is why we have situations where spread keeps growing in many states regardless of state color.
As far as your shared opinion that people who go out sick are assholes, we are finding many people who believe COVID is nothing are going out without protections and demand others stay home (hence my smoking analogy when the cancer claims were first made about smoke). Does not matter if we have 100% vaccination if people still fight over means to stop it from spreading or claiming we should all just get it already and not worry about the spread.
I was just piggy backing off of your comments.
