Yeah, wasn't a good time. Luckily we learned from past tragedies. Interesting they have been doing seismic recordings around some of the older cemeteries in Tulsa trying to locate possible mass graves for proper burials.

It was not a tragedy for the whites with postcards of the devastation being sold as postcards for years after :) But time moves on just fear seems to still hold many of them in it's grip. Mind you I've always had a dim view of men afraid to leave home unarmed.

I actually met Cleavon Little, the black sheriff in Blazing Saddles etc. when I was a teen in the 80s. He mentioned being from Oklahoma... a bad preacher guy... thats it. And you now.

Why is this a good thing if GOP has no issues with background checks for all and permits. What is wrong with background checks and permits to make sure people are properly licensed and you prevent violent histories or the like from getting guns?
 
This is the stupidest piece of legislation ever passed into law, and I am a 2A advocate.

Hmm, Oh, I KNOW! Maybe because as my time as a firearm instructor, I have witnessed the stupidest people in the world try to handle firearms, and FAILED them on their competency tests?

Dude, OK has just started a shitstorm of legal precedence that is going to take out good folks, when all the dumbasses get their hand on a piece of equipment they are not competent on. This WILL kill innocent people.
 
Lol, relax everyone. The vast majority of Okies that want to carry already have their ccp, this is not going to flood Oklahoma’s streets with guns like the old west. And most will continue to keep a ccp If they travel out of state for the reciprocity laws, I know I will.

What it does is separate bureaucracy from constitutional rights.

Other States have had constitutional carry laws without increasing gun violence. Truth be known most folks around here have been packing since time began, it really doesn’t change things much, just makes it legal for some.

There is a guy on this very forum (from Florida) who thought .223 hollow point was perfect for home defence of his family believing drywall would flatten and stop stray rounds. He had a few guns and plenty of training. Just stupid as well.

Guns are stupid people magnets. Stay away from Oklahoma. ;)
 
Should read the comment section, a real eye opener on the retardation level of rednecks. Now, each time you get into a verbal altercation with anyone in redneck County you have to fear your conversation partner pulls a gun on you? Not an issue, right? After all Americans by large are temperate, measured in response, think before they act, and keep their emotions in check. Well, one state I know I won't set foot in. Not because I am liberal, I am actually extremely conservative. But this is beyond ridiculous.
