Odds Czar: Simple Biases in the Futures Markets 2006

Art's futures biases for March 21.

A "1" means bullish bias. A "-1" means bearish bias. The total is the sum of biases. A positive sum will be long bias. A negative sum will be a short bias. A sum of zero will be a neutral bias.

art, your research is truly impressive. how successfully does it translate to trading? are you primarily looking for the best entry/exit?

the answer to your second question is i'm looking for the best something/anything that gives me an edge. entry and exit are included. so is return on account, my primary tool of validation. you get that by dividing the overall net profit by the worst drawdown. the resulting figure is the percentage yout acount would have increased if you started at the worst possible point and had the exact anmount of money as that drawdown for startup.
i'm not formally tracking the signals, although i invite anyone else to do so. it seems on a scanning basis that it's been hitting fairly impressivley lately.
the way i use the data is to increase or decrease my committment (position size) according to which way the biases are.
hope that answered your questions.
