Objections to SCT

Kidding aside. I'll tell you what would be really interesting. If you guys could put together one of those real-time "webinars" where viewers can follow their own charts, whatever they may look like, while simultaneously viewing a screen that one of you guys is using in real time to annotate and actually trade. Obviously, there is no incentive for you guys to go to such trouble, but that is a ride that I would definitely take. Heck, I'd even pay the cost of a movie to be able to watch that for one trading day in real time from the comfort of my home. Just so long as you follow your stated rules. Perhaps if there are enough like-minded people willing to "pay-per-view," including actual Hershey students, it may be worth your while to consider such an undertaking. Speak to your people.

Oh Yea. I can see it now ...

"Look, Spydertrader opened up a ChatRoom and he is charging a fee! We knew he had a plan to fleece the flock all along."

I think I'll pass on that.

I would take full responsibility for the idea and none of the proceeds. You may quote me, and I will back you up. In any event, the chronology of the idea is in this thread as a matter of record for your protection against such attacks. You would be killing two birds with one stone. You would be getting morons like us to shut up, and you would be educating the people who hold you and Jack dear in a manner that most would willingly participate in.

It would only be a one-day "informational" event. However, and this is entirely optional to you, you could always offer to refund the entry fee if you lose money that day. I, for one, would not require such a conditional guarantee.

So, don't charge a fee.
Anyone that can swing 700 contracts at a time (Jack),
should be able to produce a video.
Just show SCT, then tell all the people you impress to go read the manual.

I have a better idea. I'd pay for the privilege of taking the other side of the trades of the worst of the current crop of stoonts.

You live out in California don't you? Why not meet me in San Diego at the Trader Expo.

A live demo of SCT at a trader's expo is a great idea!

Actually, I'm not sure that would work because, technically, Jack et al are not selling anything. However, I would be most interested to learn the outcome of Spyder and Hypostomus meeting for the day and trading markets together.

I'll make you a promise, Thunderdog. If I get as good trading NQ as I think I am going to be, I'll challenge the champion of Jack's choice to an all day trading contest, fixed account size, same commissions, same margin requirements, loser pays the winner the difference between their winnings, on opposite aisles of a hotel conference room somewhere, cheerleading and heckling allowed, no other rules. So long as nobody minds me bringing along an LBFM to suck my dick when I get stressed out.

No way I'd trade against YOU, Spydertrader. I want this year's equivalent of Nwbprop (who'd that be, hmmm?). No, I do not live in CA, I only chart in PT to get the trading advantage of the two hour lead time over central time.
