"Big Medicine?" So I suppose there's a conspiracy for "Big Medicine" to kill as many cancer patients as possible with conventional treatments because that process extracts the greatest amount of money from them?

Please share the cure for cancer with us. Flintstones Children's Multivitamin plus Calcium?

P.S. Is "Big Medicine" related to "Big Oil?"

Die any way you want to, ok?

Quote from Thunderdog:

I think that "garage sale psychology" gives it a nicer slant.
I amend the objection.
"Garage sale psychology" captures the cheap, throwaway nature of their arguments best.

Not only that. A lot of garage sale stuff appears to have some value until you take it home, plug it in and try it out.

(Oh, relax guys. We're just funnin' with y'all. :D )

I feel your pain, my mother had lung cancer, wish I know sooner to try some alt medicine.
Nkhoi,

I am genuinely sorry for your loss. But you should recognize that there are no real barriers to entry in the alternative "medicine" area other than a lack of scruples, as charlatans exploit the desperate hopes of the dying and their loved ones.

Don't beat yourself up about it. I'm sure that you and your family did everything that you could. There is as much snake oil in alternative "medicine" as there is in the trading vendor arena.

On the other hand, holistic or integrative medicine is worth looking into:
